Sat. Oct. 8 from 1pm-5pm Storytelling through Song for Adults
In this workshop, Kyte will offer LIPA’s tools and techniques for finding your way into a song from a storytelling perspective — what is the song about? Who are you singing to? How do you break it down and label the sections? How do you make the most of each word and sound? What is your obstacle? Where is the “turning point” in the song’s narrative? EVERY song has a story, no matter its genre. Heavy metal? Pop? Country? Yep. There’s a story. We’re here to find it.
