We invite you to join us for a special night celebrating Mi’kmaw culture, hosted by award-winning narrative artist shlalan joudry.
The evening will feature the screening of two films: “SHALAN JOUDRY: WOMEN OF THIS LAND" , and “BASKETMAKER" , Shalan will share stories from the book “THE ART OF MI’KMAW BASKETRY” .
Shalan and friends will share Mi’kmaw songs, stories, and cultural teachings. To make this night accessible to all, we offer admission by donation.
